  • At least one activity per two months will be conducted, and out of that, at least one per quarter would be an employer-employee meet.
  • Free Expert advice - e.g. Income Tax advice, Provident Fund matter, Insurance audit, Will making etc.
  • “Helpline on Wheels” for 60 Plus Life members, at cost.
  • Other activities would include:
    • Skill enhancement & intellectual activity, like computers (Elementary/Advanced Excel, Project Management, PP, Web designing, ecommerce, etc), Discussion Groups (Books, Cinema, Current Affairs etc), Indoor Games/Competitions (Chess, Bridge, Scrabble & other mind games)
    • Networking Activity, like Speaker meetings (inviting local VIPs & experts to speak on different topics and interact with seniors), networking of member families
    • Voluntary Activity, for the benefit of specific groups like orphans, poor children, women, seniors, handicapped, even activity for normal school children to create awareness about issues like traffic, pollution, etc.
    • Advocacy Activity, especially relating to seniors, and facilities that local administration needs to create for seniors
    • Entertainment
    • Common celebration of Festivals
    • Health activity, like Yoga, Diagnostic & Preventive Camps, organizing periodic or regular walks, etc.
    • Environment related activity, eg organic & kitchen farming, waste disposal, power conservation, etc.
    • Some of these Activities like Employer-Employee Meets, some Speaker Meetings, Advisory Services, Advocacy, Voluntary Activity etc., will be free of cost to members, whereas some other Activities like Skill enhancement Activities etc will be on a concessionally chargeable basis for members.
  • There would be an Annual Convention/Function in Ahmedabad, where members from each chapter will be invited and will get an opportunity to network.
  • At the Annual Convention, awards will be given out to best performing Chapters, in different categories like, outstanding Member-oriented Activity, Outreach & Networking, Membership retention & growth, Outstanding Community Service Activity, Outstanding Advocacy Effort, and so on.
  • 60PlusLife and its members are committed to enhance Life Quality of Seniors, through activities listed above, as well as a variety of other much needed and unique activities for Seniors, on a sustainable basis. Towards that commitment, Seniors who get Professional Placements through 60PlusLife will be required to pay half a month’s compensation to 60PlusLife.
